- When was Viva Travel Institute established and by whom?
- The ground work for establishing the Institute started on 2nd December 2007. Inspired by the tremendous potential of the travel and tourism industry, Vikas Khanduri, the founder Director of Viva Travel Institute, registered the Viva Travel Institute Educational Society, with the government of India under the Society Act of 1860 on 22nd January, 2008.
- Is it just another Institute, Travel Academy, Vocational collage?
- Like they all say, 'we are different'!! But indeed, VTI has some of the finest people from the travel and tourism and education industry working together. Our courses are carefully designed to instill job knowledge and confidence in our students. Our commitment to see our students excel goes beyond their careers; we believe in equipping them with life's skills!!
- It is new, what experience does it have?
- We are new only in terms of imparting training under the banner of 'Viva Travel Institute'!! There has to be a beginning to all great things, and we are proud to create benchmark standards in imparting training for Travel and Tourism Industry. Even though we might smell of new paint, we have been associated with the travel industry for more than a collective 70 years!! Our team is adept at the skills of training, having successfully coached professionals from executive to General Managers! Our roots in the industry are deep and strong and we have incorporated in our curriculum the simple formulae needed by candidates to solve every day challenges at work.
- How are these courses different from those already in the market?
- Courses offered by Viva Travel Institute are designed keeping in mind the ever changing industry requirements. Being short term, they are focused, effective and aim at training our students in every day office responses; so that they can make contributions to their company's output as soon as employed! All courses are recognized by the travel and tourism industry and we are confident of suitable placements for deserving candidates. Our method of training is contemporary, aimed not only to clear concepts theoretically, but also hands-on practical implementation.
- Are these Degree, Diploma or Certificate courses?
- All the courses offered by Viva Travel Institute are Certificate courses, recognized by the Industry.
- How and where can I pay the Fee?
- Fee is payable via cheques or bank draft in favour of VIVA TRAVEL INSTITUTE EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, payable at Gurgaon .These can be sent by registered post or deposited at the Associate Registration Office. A receipt will be issued.
- Can I upgrade my course from one to another?
- Yes, you can! The fee difference will be advised as appropriate. All admissions are subject to approval by head office.
- Can I take a break and then rejoin classes?
- No, a chosen course has to be completed in single continuation.
- Does VIVA TRAVEL INSTITUTE help its students by providing boarding and lodging services?
- We can help our students in finding boarding lodging facilities. The addresses and phone numbers with contact person's details are available on request. However, we bear no responsibility for the same.
Details of Hostel
- Can I choose timings of my choice
- Yes, you can however if there is no seat left in one program then students have to enroll for other time slot.
- Will I get placement support after my program?
- Yes, we give 100% placement assistance to all our students. Some of the Travel Industry's well known companies have given us their consent to participate in our campus recruitments. They will also allow our students get trained in their offices, absorbing suitable candidates upon completion of the course.
- Is there any fee to be paid for placements?
- No, extra fee is attached for the placements, students will be getting placements by virtue of their performance in classroom and interview sessions.
- What is the selection process for admission to a course?
- All students have to take an online aptitude test followed by a telephonic or personal interview session with the administrator in the Head Office.
- How much weigthage give to each process in the selection criteria?
- Each step holds equal importance in selection criteria.
- Can I register online?
- Yes, you can register online.
- What are the documents required at the time of registration?
- Birth Certificate or proof of age, duly attested.
