Core Team of Viva Travel Institute Vikas Khanduri, Founder Director Vikas has more than 17 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry. He has served some of the most admired national and international travel brands of India. He has experience in formalizing, strategizing and implementing company policies. He mastered creating Channel partners while in service, setting up the GSA/PSA networks and the core area of incentive travel with India’s largest corporate houses. While in the corporate arena, Vikas was instrumental in the compiling and planning of company leisure travel brochures, strategizing national advertising campaigns - print & radio, corporate events and road shows. He was actively involved in imparting training at various cities to travel agents in conjunction with tourism boards. A professional, he has invested several years of time and effort in gaining width of knowledge and depth of experience. Known for his competence, he enjoys a significant reputation in the travel industry. Vikas is a visiting faculty for some premier tourism universities of India. He enjoys sharing the latest trends, views and news of the travel industry with the students and teachers. He is also an associate consultant and assists companies develop their business and achieve targets. Aashima Khanduri, Finance and creative Aashima has been in the Aviation industry for more than 17 years. She has been with a premier International airline and enjoys travel. Her experience lies in people handling, mentoring subordinates, and performance management. Her strengths are her meticulous approach to work and strong communication skills. Being from the airline industry, she is adept at crisis management and uses her amicable nature to an advantage. Sophiaa, Administrator An Advanced Honors Diploma in E- Commerce ,MA, MBA, and a personality development degree holder,Sophiaa has a passion for education! She has an experience of more than 8 years in academic, administrative and resource management arena. This helps her handle, formulate and implement Institute polocies, Course curriculum, alongwith taking initiatives to explore opportunities for welfare and growth. Sophiaa has a penchant for learning, not just academics but also languages! Karan Rudra, Business Development Karan is a multifaceted person who not only enjoys training students in sales and Marketing but also follows the ever-changing trends of the corporate arena with a sharp eye. A hard core MBA , he nurtures all corporate relations for the Institute looking after expansions , marketing initiatives and placements. He has a clear analytical mind , a focussed approach and an amicable” let’s get the job done “ attitude. Sumit Khanna, Course Modulater Sumit concentrates on travel industry’s latest trends and demands to cope with rapidly changing business environment, which helps technology to be delivered in synergy with travel processes. Sumit is a management and travel professional with 10 years of experience all arenas of travel trade like Inbound, Outbound, Domestic, Ticketing, online travel BPO, customer service and sales. He is post graduate in management from JNV University, Jodhpur with specialization in tourism and posses an IATA qualification. He has helped develop the course and is part of our visiting faculty team. Arvind Yadav, Technology Consultant Arvind is a Software management professional with a successful track record of IT leadership of 9 years with broad experience across infrastructure operations, network management, process development, application development/deployment, database management, website operations, developing structural designs, booking engines, fares management systems. He is an AIMA post graduate in management with specialization in IT and posses E-business and software technology certifications from IBM and NIIT. He has the charge of developing all technology and its support for the Institute.
